Gearing up for 2011...

Now that the holiday season is drawing to an end and I am officially out of ideas for songs... Brian had a great idea the other week-- leave a comment on the blog describing your goals for 2011! Feel free to do so any day this week, and we'll come up with a "master list" for the new year. #20

  1. My goals for 2011: (1) Cross-train at least once a week, (2) Try a new race (and not just some "random distance"), (3) Get better at drinking water while riding a bike... and maybe even try eating a gu or something "crazy" like that, and (4) Set a new 10K PR.

  2. My goals for 2011: (1)BQ at Tobacco Road, (2)sub-17:15 for 5k, (3)improve my average bike speed for 17-18 miles by 1 mph, (4)sub-1:25 Half-Marathon, and (5)Break 5 minutes in the mile.

    We can help you with #3 Meghan, we'll get you on a trainer and feed you Gu's then move to eating Gu's while riding in a parking lot and then finally eating while on an actual road!
