Wait, all I own is running sneakers... guess I'm going to have to run! Ever try to use this as an excuse for why you couldn't cross-train? Here's a list of equipment that may make your swim workouts more effective:
Some other things that you might need - goggles (can't really swim without them) and a swim cap (not necessary, but helpful if you swim a lot in highly chlorinated pools).

ReplyDeleteSwim suits are for the modest of heart.
ReplyDeletedon't forget the water wings...
ReplyDeletehahaha... or the waterproof shoes for running on water... that is still one of my favorite videos!
ReplyDeleteFor anyone wanting to no more about water wings from Nicoles comment, they are great devices to help a wearer float in water and learn to swim. Although inflatable armbands are popular among small children, swimming experts caution against using them, because although water wings help the child to float, they do not prevent him/her from accidentally going under water and potentially drowning. Inflatable armbands are not a life-saving device. Mistaking them for one can create a potentially fatal false sense of security.

LOL swim suits optional. They only hinder your movements in the water and possible microscopic drag even for the best suits.
