Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican militia's unlikely victory over the French army during the Battle of Puebla, which occurred in 1862. It is observed worldwide as a day to honor Mexican heritage. So what do cycling and Cinco de May have in common? Absolutely nothing really. In 1986, Raul Alcala became the first Mexican cyclist to compete in the Tour de France. He was quite successful during the late 80's / early 90's, finishing in the top 10 in the Tour de France 3 times (presumably at the expense of French riders)!

Weird event from Tuesday night's run - a poor dog had to drag a log that was easily 5x its size while being filmed by 2 people using the webcam on their laptop
